Designed for use in zoos to feed grazing tortoises including Leopards, Sulcatta, Russians, Greeks, Hermanns, Marginateds, Pancakaes, Stars, Radiated and other herbivorous species.
We recommend a balanced diet where the Mazuri acts as a supplement in warmer months when greens are available and as the bulk of the winter diet when greens are harder to find.
Mazuri Freshwater Turtle Diet
Mazuri is the best commercial diet out there in our opinion. The freshwater Turtle Diet is the best of all the aquatic foods we’ve tried. Not only does it have a great blend of vitamins, but it helps keep the water cleaner too! We find it floats longer and stays together better than other foods, making it easier to keep your water clean. We also find it leaves less of an oily film on the surface then some of the other common diets.

We use this as the staple diet for most of our turtles and add it as a supplement to some of the semi-terrestrial species. Unless it's a tortoise who only eats grasses, we offer this to all of our animals, and they all readily accept it.
GFCI Adapter Plug
It’s important to have all of your electrical devices on a GFCI plug. Avoid shocks and electrocution with this simple device. Plugs into any three prong wall outlet.
GFCI 5 Outlet Adapter
Plugs into a standard 3 pronged duplex outlet and expands to 5 GFCI protected outlets to power all your electrical devices. This is a highly recommended product for any setup. Prevents dangerous shocks and electrocution.
Duetto DJ-50 Submersible Filter
Hands down, our favorite sumbersible… and we’ve tried them ALL. This is the smaller of 2 sizes available. Made by Marineland, this filter is a true workhorse. It can be used in as little as 2″-3″ of water. It’s perfect for small hatchling setups or to filter water in a tortoise pen.
Rated for up to 10 gallons of water, it has and adjustable flow rate and will pump up to 66 GPH. Featues a 3 stage filtration and is one of the only submersibles to include activated carbon chamber in the filter, which controls odors. Attachments included allow it to be used to pump water and creat a mini waterfall and to allow for air intake to oxygenate the water as well.
GFCI 2' Long In Line 3 Outlet Adapter
The same GFCI protection as in the other Shock Buster products, but this will only take up one receptacle in your wall socket. Has 3 GFCI protected outlets for powering all your electrical devices. Prevents shocks and electrocution.
